Accessing the Check-In/Out Window
From the Map dashboard, hover your cursor to your preferred location and wait for the CHECK IN and CHECK OUT button to appear.

Click the CHECK IN or CHECK OUT button and the relevant window will appear. The top part of the window will show you what action you're doing and the location you selected.
On the left panel, you see:
search and scan field - You can use this to either manually search for a product. Manually search a product by typing the name of the product name on the field. You can also use a barcode scanner to scan the barcode of the product you wish to check in or check out of the location.

The search field is designed to make searching products easier. It helps you to easily location product from the list instead of scrolling through the list and manually finding the product you plan to check in. From this window, you can start checking in or out products three different ways
Click a product to check out one unit at a time (each click increases quantity).
You can click, hold, and the drag the product from the left panel and then drop it to the right panel. (each transfer increases quantity).
Click the infinite icon (∞) placed at the end of each product name. A window will appear which will allow you to enter your preferred quantity. When you hit the Check in button, the product and the enter quantity will be added to the right panel. This is specifically helpful when you are entering a large number of products into a location.


Once the preferred products are added to the right panel, you can check lick the Check In / Check out button at the bottom of the window to save your entry. You can add a comment to the transaction or click the button to skip it.

Using the Drag & Drop feature to Check Out Items
The Drag & Drop feature makes moving inventory more intuitive and efficient. You can now use this functionality for checkouts as well.
Use Drag & Drop for Check-Outs:
1. On the Map dashboard, click and hold the location where the items are stored.
2. Drag the location to the Check-Out icon, which appears in the middle top section of your map.

3. A window will pop up displaying:
The source location (on the left, showing all available items in that location).
The Check-Out panel (on the right, where selected items will be placed).

4. To check out products:
Click a product to check out one unit at a time (each click increases quantity).
Drag a product to transfer all available quantity at once.
Click on a quantity to manually enter the amount to transfer.
5. Finalizing the Check-Out:
After selecting the items, click Check Out.
You'll be prompted to leave a comment (optional but recommended).

Checking Items In/Out Using a Spreadsheet
For bulk operations, you can use a spreadsheet. This is especially useful when checking in/out multiple items or transferring products between different locations.
From the Map dashboard, hover your cursor to your preferred location and wait for the CHECK IN and CHECK OUT button to appear.

Click the ‘Import From File’ Button. You'll find this button in the upper-right corner of the page.

Upload Your File
Select and upload a CSV file. Your spreadsheet should contain a Product Number and Quantity Column. (e.g., SAMPLE CSV FILE)
You can create a CSV file using spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel.
Match the Fields
CyberStockroom will automatically detect the fields from your spreadsheet.
The detected fields will appear on the left side of the screen.
Match the Product Number and Quantity fields to their respective columns. (Click, hold, and drag the fields)
Click Next to proceed.
Double check the list of products imported from your spreadsheet then Check In / Check Out button to proceed.

Add a Comment (Optional)
Write a comment for the transaction.
Click ‘Save’.
The product list window will indicate if you are checking out products that exceeds the available quantity in that location.
You will also have the option to upload a corrected file.
If you chose to proceed with the original file with the original quantity, the available products will be checked out.
